This is a Special Weather Statement UPDATE from the National Emergency Management Office in collaboration with the National Weather Service informing the public that heavy showers, isolated thunderstorms and windier conditions (up to 35MPH) are forecasted over the next couple of days. This Weather is slowly moving North-West away from Palau possibly by midweek.  The public is reminded to secure any loose items around their residences and to take precaution when driving for possible flooding, landslides/mudslides and debris. Sea conditions may become hazardous with a combination of swells and wind waves across Palau.

**THERE ARE NO TYPHOON WATCHES OR WARNINGS IN EFFECT FOR PALAU.**

NEMO and the National Weather Service will continue to monitor weather conditions and will update the public accordingly.
