President Remengesau Accepts H.E. Rodrigo do Amaral Souza’s Credentials as Second Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Palau

On June 27, President Tommy E. Remengesau, Jr. accepted His Excellency Rodrigo do Amaral Souza’s credentials as the second Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Palau during the presentation of credentials ceremony held at the Executive Building in Ngerulmud.

President Remengesau extended warm congratulations to Ambassador Souza on behalf of the people and government of Palau, and further expressed desires to strengthen partnership and relations. “I look forward to working with you and the government of Brazil to advance our friendship, partnership and relations.”

“I am honored and privileged to be here as the second Ambassador to Palau. Geographically, Brazil is far from Palau, however we share mutual values and interests, including the protection of the ocean and the environment. I look forward to working with Palau closely moving forward”, expressed Ambassador Souza.

Ambassador Souza has served in various foreign and diplomatic service positions for more than 30 years.
