Palau High School Senior Ayanna Ramarui Completes Practicum at Office of the President

 On May 3rd, 18-year old Palau High School Senior Ayanna Ramarui successfully completed her 5-month practicum work-based study at the Office of the President.

Speaking before President Tommy E. Remengesau, Jr. and Cabinet Ministers on May 14th during a luncheon organized in her honor, Ms. Ramarui expressed her appreciation and stated her tenure at the Office of the President has “inspired me to aim high”.

“Ayanna quickly became a cherished member of our Office Family since coming on board in January 2018. We will surely miss her presence in our Administrative Department and wish her success in her educational endeavors”, stated Deputy Chief of Staff Rebluud Kesolei on behalf of President Remengesau and the Office of the President.

During the course of her tenure, Ayanna learned many valuable workforce skills, including work ethic, communication skills, and administrative functions such as proper telephone etiquette and customer service.

As she prepares to receive her diploma along with the rest of the Palau High School Class of 2018 on May 31, Ayanna is also preparing herself and looking forward to college this fall. She has been accepted to attend the National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taipei, Republic of China (Taiwan) to pursue a degree in civil engineering.

“I will do my best and study hard as I am commitment to returning back to Palau to help the People of Palau.”, Ayanna promises.
