Faustina K. Rehuher-Marugg Swears in as Minister of State

On June 13, Mrs. Faustina K. Rehuher-Marugg took her oath of office as the Minister of State and the newest member of President Tommy E. Remengesau, Jr.’s Cabinet.

With a wealth of experience in public service, the preservation of Palau’s heritage and history through her roles as Minister of Community and Cultural Affairs, and as Director and Curator of the Belau National Museum, President Remengesau expressed confidence that Minister Rehuher-Marugg will work diligently to represent the Republic of Palau in international forums, both inside and outside of the Republic.

In congratulating and welcoming Minister Rehuher-Marugg, President Remengesau also expressed his appreciation to Minister Billy Kuartei for his service to the public and the years he dedicated to the community.

Minister Rehuher-Marugg’s oath of office was administered by Judge Rosemary Skebong. The swearing in ceremony was held at the Office of the President in Ngerulmud, and witnessed by elected and traditional leaders in addition to Minister Rehuher-Marugg’s family and friends.
